BECOMING A THERAPIST – MY STORY
I knew early on in life that my greatest fulfillment came from helping others achieve their full potential. Having grown up as a first-generation Canadian in the Punjabi community of Surrey, BC, I understood the value of having a strong support system around me. Through leadership roles I held in various capacities, I learned the pivotal role that listening deeply and understanding peoples’ unique experiences play in helping them flourish and achieve success. These experiences moved me along a path that eventually led to completing a Masters in Counselling and becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in BC.
